Undergrad statisticians, data scientists, and analysts in the Midwest! You're invited to participate in the ninth annual Midwest Undergraduate Data Analytics Competition (MUDAC). Your student team can only be registered by your faculty advisor/mentor.
Due to Covid-19 concerns, this will be a completely online event -- opening at 8 am Central Time on Saturday, March 28 and closing at 5 pm on Sunday, March 29. You'll be challenged to solve a complex data challenge related to Minnesota water quality.
Your team will submit your work electronically for judging which will take place electronically during the week following the competition.

Getreu dem Zitat Goethes, haben wir den ersten Programmierwettbewerb „shortcut:hackathon“ in unserer Region ausgerufen. Der shortcut:hackathon ist eine zweitägige Veranstaltung für Studierende, Auszubildende und jede/n, die oder der Interesse an der Programmierung innovativer und mehrwertbringender Lösungen hat und bereits Programmierkenntnisse besitzt.
Hinter der Veranstaltungsreihe „shortcut“ stehen wir, die LANDWEHR Computer und Software GmbH, die Rosen Gruppe in Lingen und die Bernard KRONE Holding SE & Co. KG. Bereits zuvor haben zwei weitere gemeinsame Veranstaltungen stattgefunden. Die Recruitingmesse "shortcut – Zukunft IT regional" sowie “shortcut - The Conference“, die über die Themen KI, New Work und IT-Megatrends informierte.

If your weekend plans usually include coding, machine learning, data visualization and lots of coffee, you’ve come to the right place. The ZEISS Innovation Hub teams up with KIT and invites the ambitious and creatives to delve into the world of computer vision.
Experience ZEISS hardware and data right here at the ZEISS Innovation Hub @ KIT. Data experts and computer vision specialists from ZEISS as well as KIT will present real world challenges they are facing. This can be anything from virtual try-on of eyeglasses to helping a visually impaired person to navigate through and obstacle course. Our team will be around to mentor and discuss ideas, code and best practices. Come join us and build a working prototype to bring computer vision to the next level.

Students and professionals -- 18 years of age or older! Are you fascinated by the challenges of sustainable mobility? i2CAT invites you to participate in the #MuvHackathon. At this Online Virtual Hackathon, you'll be challenged to create an innovative solution related to sustainable mobility and around public transport, riding, walking, urban planning, air quality, pollution, or health.
Participate on your own, or as a member of a mixed-gender team of up to four people. You or your team-mates should have knowledge and skills in areas such as coding, data analysis, data visualization, artificial intelligence, marketing, and UX-UI.
You or your team will have 24 hours to conceive and build a web or mobile app and then 5 minutes to pitch your idea/solution and functional proof of concept. The two winning teams will share a €2,500.00 prize pool.
