Undergrad statisticians, data scientists, and analysts in the Midwest! You're invited to participate in the ninth annual Midwest Undergraduate Data Analytics Competition (MUDAC). Your student team can only be registered by your faculty advisor/mentor. Due to Covid-19 concerns, this will be a completely online event -- opening at 8 am Central Time on Saturday, March 28 and closing at 5 pm on Sunday, March 29. You'll be challenged to solve a complex data challenge related to Minnesota water quality. Your team will submit your work electronically for judging which will take place electronically during the week following the competition.

Students and professionals -- 18 years of age or older! Are you fascinated by the challenges of sustainable mobility? i2CAT invites you to participate in the #MuvHackathon. At this Online Virtual Hackathon, you'll be challenged to create an innovative solution related to sustainable mobility and around public transport, riding, walking, urban planning, air quality, pollution, or health. Participate on your own, or as a member of a mixed-gender team of up to four people. You or your team-mates should have knowledge and skills in areas such as coding, data analysis, data visualization, artificial intelligence, marketing, and UX-UI. You or your team will have 24 hours to conceive and build a web or mobile app and then 5 minutes to pitch your idea/solution and functional proof of concept.
